History of Polyzene^®-F

For decades, scientists have searched for the ultimate polymer that would be pure enough for medical applications, yet easily manufactured. Polyzene®-F is that ultimate polymer. Polymers are composed of small molecules connected by chemical bonds into long strands; plastics, nylon, Teflon® and silicone are all polymers.

Not only is Polyzene^®-F produced to medical grade purity standards, it consists of long molecular chains that are negatively polarized and have a high molecular weight. It can be manufactured in large quantities which makes it suitable for medical, industrial, and commercial applications. For medical applications Polyzene^®-F is biocompatible, anti-inflammatory, and bacterial resistant. For industrial and commercial applications, it resists mold, mildew, stains and is fire-resistant.
