CeloNova BioSciences Celebrates A Successful Annual Congress by CIRSE

ATLANTA, GA -- September 13, 2007 -- CeloNova BioSciences, Inc. (“CeloNova”), a leading solutions driven developer of innovative medical devices, concluded five days of discussions, presentations and exhibits at the annual meeting of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE).

Athens, Greece was a hub of activity as CeloNova unveiled the world’s first safety and efficiency oriented color-coded line of embolic particles, Embozene™ Color-Advanced Microspheres, and built anticipation about a new product, CATANIA™, in the field of interventional cardiology. Both products feature CeloNova’s proprietary polymer, Polyzene®-F, which provides medical implants with a highly biocompatible and durable surface treatment.

Throughout the congress physicians, investment bankers, medical device companies and distributors, sought out discussions with CeloNova executives regarding CeloNova’s products, prospects and clinical advancements. This substantial attention and focus on CeloNova by these varied constituents demonstrated strong interest in CeloNova’s products and the Company’s forward going development.

In addition, CeloNova celebrated as Dr. Boris Radeleff was honored by the CIRSE committee with the CIRSE 2007 Magna Cum Laude EPOS Award. Dr. Radeleff, et al, received the award for his paper titled “Comparison of late in-stent stenosis and vessel wall inflammation in Cypher® Select, Taxus® Express™, and Polyzene®-F nanocoated cobalt chromium stents in a porcine coronary artery model.”

CeloNova highlighted the benefits of Polyzene®-F surface modifications and coatings for all medical devices. Executive-level discussions were held with many device companies regarding joint venture opportunities using Polyzene®-F.

Highly successful meetings at CIRSE have the market poised to receive the many new products that CeloNova is prepared to launch. CeloNova will participate in GISE, the national congress of the Italian Society of Invasive Cardiology, in Genoa, Italy October 2-5, 2007. At this meeting, an abstract regarding a clinical trial of CATANIA™, dubbed “The CAT™” by interventionalists who have used it, will be presented. The CAT™ with its CE certificate has completed first in man clinical trials.

“We are gratified by the interest shown and the ready acceptance of our products in the marketplace,” stated CeloNova President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas A. Gordy.
